Real-time schedule optimisation
Our in-house developed ultra-fast route and matrix algorithms form the basis for real-time schedule optimisation to street and house number accuracy. The exact and optimum route sequence is calculated when agreeing an appointment, by taking into account the driven kilometers and the driving times combined with the reference costs. This is the only way to achieve realistic field service optimisation.
FLS VISITOUR software offers a multitude of adjustable parameters. Automatic call padding
It is part and parcel of field services that some calls are carried out faster than planned or aborted at short notice because the customer was unavailable or the conditions for call processing were not satisfied at the customer’s location. The mobile solution provides the dispatcher with permanent feedback on the available route capacities of relevant field engineers due to cancelled appointments. The padding function allows you to incorporate entered, still unscheduled calls (e.g. maintenance calls) into existing routes or, depending on the actual setting, to schedule the calls as separate routes. This can also occur fully automatically without manual intervention from dispatchers or technicians.
