FLS VISITOUR is a client/server solution. It consists of a web application server and a Windows based thin-client for the user interface. The web application server is SOAP/XML based, and acts as the communication platform for all the functions (appointment requests, appointment booking, optimization, geo-coding, etc.) via web services. Because of the web services, it's possible to run FLS VISITOUR without it's UI - as a black-box application - with an existing ERP system.

The FLS VISITOUR web application server also enables the communication between the FLS MOBILE solution - which supports laptops and Smartphones (Windows Mobile, Blackberry, Android, iPhone, iPad, etc) – and your existing ERP system.

The FLS VISITOUR web application server is scalable. The Advanced Server version is used by our customers with larger field service organizations (500+ field staff) – since it has load-balancing and fallback functionalities built into it.

Typically, our customers integrate FLS VISITOUR with their existing back-end systems via the web services – allowing for automated data transfers between different software systems. But, FLS VISITOUR can be used as a stand-alone system with its ability to import data via Excel, Access, CVS, etc.

Since fall 2011 the development of the 64 bit VISITOUR server is finished with all basis functions. We are happy to offer our new customers only the 64 bit version. Our customers benefit from an optimized performance, a variable integration of client-specific adjustments and an improved bugtracking to name but a few.
